Eradicate the Rot from the Root

Hello,

Made this for the Scribblenauts: Unmasked Contest in dA.

Discovered that there is a new Swamp Thing, and the character's background is pretty neat: A consciousness connected to the plants and the Earth, death, parallel dimensions, living beings are being rotten, infested super heroes, and plenty more neat stuff..  So I decided to do it.

Stormy Weather

Hello, this one was originally an entry for dA Cute Monster Contest. The concept is actually a Kandang Ayam (Cock/Hen Cage); and here is the description from the dA page:
A rattan cage-like monster that protects a bird nest from the storm, going deep into the forest finding a way through tree branches with its tentacles. 9 colours used, with kind of sketchy style to differentiate with other entries.
Below are the final, concept and black/white version. Another illustration should be coming soon, meanwhile enjoy dying..

3 Badges: [Stalking Eggplant] - [Grow] - [Spotlight]

I was concentrating to different things, as well as my current short film project.
Sorry for the lack of updates and thank you for those who popped in..

These are rushed entries for badge contest back in July : |
A more drawing-illustration approach I guess..

Enjoy dying.. Still.

The Abode Of Temporality

Greetings!

Today and tomorrow I will be working in one or two projects, so I am posting the first entry I made for dA-fotolia Contest months ago :D
I guess because I blend/unified the core elements which I should focus as subjects with the whole picture. Anyway my bad.

This is a combination of digital paintings and photomanipulation. The first time I tried this method. Interesting and surely had fun :D

Here is the description and list of photography used from the dA page:

A representation of a world full of blind industrial revolutions, a mundane march led by deceivers.

Cats in several mythologies are exalted animals and are believed to have multiple lives. Here, the Cat is human made, bio-mechanical and recalls human's anatomy. It has plenty of hands holding clocks which emphasize how are so attached to time and how in living in cities is all about speed. It is made and surrounded by advance technology but yet, its body is hollow, dead.

All these elements are combined to form a sort of a false divine entity, who calls everyone to cities leaving the nature behind.. Who persuades people to be attached to a temporary world.

The Offspring Falls

Salutations!

I walked away from my animation project because I used a some kind of different approach to it, and none of my tutors understand it. I guess next time I should follow the more conventional-academic way. LoL. But I am happy that people that I actually respect because of how they see the world through different angles, can understand it.

Anyway, the mother of my son told me to do this deviantART - Fotolia Contest so I made 2 entries.
Contestants had to choose at least one cat, one fruit and one clock, and elaborate them.

This is the second entry that I actually did not submitted :D Not as finished as I would like it to be.

Enjoy the enjoyment of dying..

Towards distant lands

This is the first entry I made, the darker version I sent to the contest actually is an altered version made by Artnonimous. I like it more, so I posted it.

Quick in-game info, SCVs are terran mecha miners and almost useless in combat. Through evolution of genius gamers, a strategy of scouting using SCVs was developed. In most case it will die as enemies will spot and easily kill it.

Apparently (just discovered couples of days ago) I went through the final and won something, still not clear which entry have won and what my position is, but happy for it and a big thank you to everyone who voted!

The fonts used are still from:

Live longer - Enroll and support the Army

Hi! Hi! Hi!

This is the second entry I made for the contest I was talking about previously, of course it didn't won. But it's a nice way to keep drawing instead of embodying a Night Elf Huntress in the World Of Warcraft, which in the other hand, is a fountain of insane inspiration on living and creating.

Just in case, this is a propaganda poster contest for part of an in-game story of StarCraft II: Wings Of Liberty.
Quick in-game info, marines are the earliest combat unit available in war session and are versatile core of the terran army. Like all units they need minerals to be produced, and they start become deadly in groups.

The types are from these cool font makers:

Enjoy dying~
