I walked away from my animation project because I used a some kind of different approach to it, and none of my tutors understand it. I guess next time I should follow the more conventional-academic way. LoL. But I am happy that people that I actually respect because of how they see the world through different angles, can understand it.

Anyway, the mother of my son told me to do this deviantART - Fotolia Contest so I made 2 entries.
Contestants had to choose at least one cat, one fruit and one clock, and elaborate them.

This is the second entry that I actually did not submitted :D Not as finished as I would like it to be.

This actually is made months ago, I think before the last post about study of anatomy. I actually wanted to make a series of these, but haven't got the time, so here you go..

I took probably around five or six hours for this using photo reference.
I know it's too much :/

Haven't got the condition to exercise on drawing or put any material not related to my work in progress project for uni. My schedule and actual project are so messy right now, and very little decisions are well established.

But I noticed from time to time people passes by, and feel sorry that I haven't posted anything new. So here's one: A DVD sleeve for an animatic deadline. Last minute creation, all stretched and messed up LoL.

Working on 'SCEPTRE'

One month late entry to University. No work has been done. The deadline is 4 days away, there is a tutorial 3 days away, and my PC's mobo and/or 4 x 2,33 Ghz cpu died.

My lovely Mother bought me a 2 x 2,27 Ghz laptop with 4 Gb Ram. Took one day to arrive from Amazon, install the programs, connect the HDDs, that makes 3 days to the deadline, and 2 days to the tutorial.

The deadline is: ANIMATION TREATMENT from 5 to 10 pages.

Managed to write and draw 10 pages of the Treatment, do some printing test, print it on to acetate and paper using Library's photocopier, bind it manually with beautiful paper stapler, toxic glue, and 250 gsm rough paper. Note: I have a cutter but no ruler, so I was ripping them with hands.

Missed the tutorial, and handed it in 45 minutes late the day after, but it is a personal record.

Towards distant lands

This is the first entry I made, the darker version I sent to the contest actually is an altered version made by Artnonimous. I like it more, so I posted it.

Quick in-game info, SCVs are terran mecha miners and almost useless in combat. Through evolution of genius gamers, a strategy of scouting using SCVs was developed. In most case it will die as enemies will spot and easily kill it.

Apparently (just discovered couples of days ago) I went through the final and won something, still not clear which entry have won and what my position is, but happy for it and a big thank you to everyone who voted!
